A Look Back: December 2017
Our favorite decor from DecemberĀ 2017
Every month we highlight a few of our favorite and most noteworthy events from the past month. All of our New Year’s Eve decor events can be found on this post!
Shirley Ryan Ability Lab
We were tasked with creating holiday decor for the SkyLobby of the Shirley Ryan Ability Lab. The challenge was to not use any holiday specific representation. The end result was a combination of silver and gold starbursts. The starbursts hung from the ceiling of the lobby and topped several columns for use on the patient floors. A large tree like sculpture with starburst accents on the top and bottom became the main focus of the lobby. As we were setting everything up, passers by couldn’t help but look upon it in awe!
JB Pritzker Event
We post a lot of deluxe style balloon walls, but this one was bigger than most. It was about 12 feet high by 18 feet wide. Silver and blue balloons created a stunning backdrop for politician JB Pritzker’s speaking event. Agate balloons, balloons with swirls of color, and blue and silver glitter filled balloons were also used for an added effect. A few bubble strands in matching colors were placed around the event venue as well to create a more cohesive look. This deluxe wall setup has become our favorite to date! Tommy and Scott included for scale.
Holiday Party
It’s likely you’ve seen us posting a lot of organic decor lately. We even had a big setup with organic 10 foot balloon clouds last month! But… we wanted bigger. We added an extra 5 feet to this installation! The design was organic and because of that it became either a wall or a cloud depending on where you were looking at it. Silver and white balloons in varying sizes made this holiday party decor something memorable for everyone.
