Our favorite decor from January 2017
Every month we highlight a few of our favorite and most noteworthy events from the past month.
Adler After Dark
The Adler Planetarium holds a monthly event for adults 21+ called Adler After Dark. The event is designed to allow adults time to enjoy the planetarium, with no kids, and explore all the facility has to offer with the addition of live entertainment and event bars. They have new themes every month, so each event is different! January’s theme was Retrorocket, a 1950’s retro space party. We were happy to help out with the decor as it gave us an opportunity to make something new, a literal retro rocket. The rocket was inspired by 1950’s era rocket design with a narrow base and slightly wider body leading to a narrow nose with a needle point tip. To round out the decor we added fireworks to the ceiling, which the uplighting made look otherworldly.
Christening Decor
This decor for a christening was simple yet elegant. With a navy and white color scheme, we got to work on the organic style cloud that was to be placed hanging over the sweets table. On top of 4 of the tables were centerpieces featuring a clear single 3′ balloon filled with round navy confetti. Burlap ribbon hung down towards the balloon cluster base to finish off the look.
