A Look Back: March 2017
Our favorite decor from March 2017
Every month we highlight a few of our favorite and most noteworthy events from the past month.
Welcome to our New Website!
If you’ve been here before you may have noticed that we’ve gotten a makeover. While the layout is similar, the design is all new and it’s mobile and tablet responsive now, too! Please note that while we try to make everything load quickly, the photo galleries may take an extra minute or two to fully load all the images. Now, onto the decor!
St. Patrick’s Day!
St. Patrick’s Day is a huge celebration day in Chicago and it certainly keeps us busy as well. Several city bars are open early in the day to welcome the crowds who came out for the dying of the Chicago River, private indoor viewing events at locations along the river, and 5k races offer plenty to do and see. Balloon shamrocks and large rainbow arches were eagerly welcomed to each event. A couple of leprechauns were also spotted chasing after the pots of gold!
Navy Pier
You’ve seen a few events from Navy Pier posted before, but this one we particularly liked the look of and thought it deserved a mention. The design idea is one that is requested often, fireworks and firework topped columns. For this particular setup, the columns were made about 8′ tall and we added small 5″ balloons to the end of the fireworks. Unfortunately, we did not take a “before” photo to be able to show the transformation this simple decor setup created.
ShirleyRyan AbilityLab
The new ShirleyRyan AbilityLab wanted to have balloons for their grand opening, but balloons and hospitals aren’t a good combination due to latex allergies. The solution was helium filled mylar balloon starburst bouquets, and it looked amazing!
